A) She knows that most speak a different language a home besides english and in order to build up their oral communication and prepare them for a writing assignment, she puts them in groups to discuss a previous reading with their peers.
B) She asks questions on specific characters and events that are in the reading to help with the discussing and give them key points about the reading.
C) It gives all the information about the text and helps undersatnd it better for their writing assignment. It gives a layout on what exactly to write or at least a general idea.
