I used to work in primary with second graders and even I looked forward to brain breaks becuase they do give that extra boost of energy!

Loved the video, I'm insterested to see more body movement breaks. Do you have another video or another location to find more break ideas? I work with PreK and they get distracted really easy!

Thanks,

Becky Lou

I watched the video "Brain Breaks" It was very clear we all during the course of the day need a Brain Break. the teacher showed how the students can be up moving and with a partner do "thumb wrestling" or "chopsticks" She had the timer set for only 5 minutes and the kids were willing to stop doing the bookwork to be able to use different muscles. Then they were willing and ready to go back to bookwork. This shows a teacher that knows her students and makes the adjust to work with all of them.
