Video: Leadership Teams Transform A School I was drawn to the title of this video from Burien, WA since I am presently supporting Foundations teams, PBIS Leadership teams in a dozen LKSD schools and 15 BSSD Schools. There were several points made that I think are worthy of comment including: 1. Breaking down the relationship between the administrative leadership and the teachers was key to success; 2. The principal taking a humble posture, learning along with and from her colleagues; 3. Looking at student work together, talking about it, planning and reflecting are key processes; 4. The principal recognizing the role teachers can play in determining courses of action to address the challenges they face; 5. Collaboration amongst professionals. I firmly believe from both my knowledge of the research and literature as well as my own personal experience that the MOST effective schools have a shared leadership model. Getting there is not an easy task I have observed.

I have watched one video. As I attempted to watch another, I was asked to register. Is there a fee to register and/or to have access to other videos?
