Cooperation learning is defined by a set of processes which help students interact together to accomplish a specific goal, whereas the underlying premise of collaborative learning is based upon building compromise through the teamwork displayed by group members. Students need to feel empowered when simulating a problem-solving activity with open ended questions. Learning in a collaborative environment engages students critical thinking skills when evaluating the lesson presented, and to work together to find their foundation of their project.
