This video has plenty to offer, but I was terribly concerned to see a large Confederate flag hanging in one of the model classrooms. The most generous interpretation is that the flag was presented as an artifact to be discussed. What is indisputable is that it's a symbol of racist violence and oppression, looming large in a space that should feel safe. It sets a poor tone for the first video in the series.
