This was a great lesson. The students had a chance to share, and the teacher did a great job giving value to everyones opinions and listening to even the most quiet students.

I like how she started the discussion by connecting knowledge to student's past experiences related to the environment. She also involved each student in the discussion. She individually worked with students one-on-one as needed. I think the question prompts she used in the persuasive argument exercise were very engaging and effective.

I liked the use of the ball when each student took a turn to speak, it's a fun way to pass the speaker position and gives who ever is talking something tactile which can help with speaking anxiety.
