There will always come a time when students will need an extra push in order to become motivated for a lesson. Getting students motivated for a lesosn is half the fun, and I believe it will increase the overall mood and enjoyment of the overall lesson if students are able to get interested. Curiousity for students is something that helps them learn as they will actively engage with the lesson. A question I would pose is , would there be a universal method that gets the attention of students, regardless of grade level/age?

I feel that not all students will be coming to school on a full stomache, ready to learn, and or prepared. I feel that coming up with things to challenge the children and have them imagine will be a great way to bring them into what you are teaching. Having them work in groups to support one another and share their ideas is very engaging. Then having them share if they would like. Images are always great for them to imagine and think of new things.

I like how SBW acted like she was just as curious as her students about the clues in the box. Kids love that type of animation and enthusiasm in their teachers. SBW reminds me of some of the favorite teachers of my past!
