I have done with my class comparing shapes and reason which one doesn't belongs ,helps kids think about the shapes: it is very interesting to hear their reasoning as to which ones they group together and why.
Some group by color, size of the shape, curved or no curves two and three demensional types etc. Some kids find it difficult to sit and listen for very long so keeping it short and to the point for getting the concepts you want them to review would be useful . Getting them to make the shape with their body would be good movement too!
