I honestly remember the tootie- ta game from when I was in elementary. This is a way to keep the students engaged and excited about a listening game. This is also a way to get the students moving around in the morning, get some of their energy going, and having fun. The teacher added that this is also a way to notice if students can take more than one direction at a time or not, which can be great knowledge to have moving forward in the school year.
