Ms. Noonan’s classroom management is top tier. Kudos to here!! She allows each child to feel seen and heard. It was very impressive how she uses engagement throughout the day. I really enjoyed how she made her students never had a moment to get bored. Key takeaway for me is how she allows time for everyone to express their feelings, accomplishments and goals. Having that discourse is vital. The class culture was respectful and inviting. Her transition strategies were refreshing to watch. Even when redirecting some students, they got right back on tasks. You can tell she taught rules and procedures explicitly. Her class flowed so well and the students who facilitated and lead parts of the class were able to take ownership of their roles by taking their jobs seriously. Giving students titles as experts boosted their confidence and in return made them want to raise their hands. No one could hide in the crowd. Everyone was expected to participate in some way. She went over schedule for the day so everyone was aware of the day’s itinerary and she clearly stated the learning target while having students repeat her. Great daily routines classroom footage!!

I like how she started with all kids sitting in a circle.  Students reflect on what they did and didn't do in a positive atmosphere.  She modeled for the classroom, provided visuals and had a hands on approach to learning. All students were engaged in the lesson.
