I enjoyed listening to the analysis. As mentioned, inclusion is extremely important. Also, the message being communicated should be direct and clear for students to be able to comprehend.

Ms. Brannon not only sits in the front of the class; she makes it a point to be at their level. She asks questions to make them think. She speaks calmly and is consist about getting their attention and input.

By sitting in front of the students Ms.Bannon is able to see all her students. By being able to see all her students she is able to observe if anyone is confused or if they are all engaged.
Consistency plays such an important role. By using the same terms consistantly the students are able to listen to the terms more then once and understand their meaning.
By boucing ideas off of her small groups her students feel heard. I loved how she did this and was able to have the rest of her studnets working while she was working with each group.

Yes, Ms. Bannon's location in front of the students played a huge role. It helped the students to be more focus and engaged in the discussion.

Ms.Bannon location was absolutely well organized, having the students in a circle environment makes students have a more connected and open discussion. Students remain focused, and she provided sentences started so that students can lead and continue to be part of the lesson. Again, thinking steps were provided as well as time for students to answer and lead on provide with feedback.
