1. I like the role of the techer, as he walks around the classroom checking in on students and offering feedback. He wants to be sure everyone is on track
2.This lesson illustrate differentiated instruction by letting the students pick their choice of assignment. Students are more willing to work and research material based on what they wanted to learn more about.
3. Workshop Model helps the teacher to differenent and gives students time to work on material.

1. I would describe the teacher's role in this classroom as letteing the students make choices on how they will reach their learning target.
2.This lesson illustrate differentiated instruction by letteing the students pick their choices on what activity they want to work on, use a rubric, extended time and small group of twos.
3. Workshop Model help the teacher address his students' various learning needs by giving a target to master with many choices to choose from.

I love the demonstrations of real-classroom-life differentiations. It's meeting the needs of every student with the least amount of frustration on all ends of the spectrum.
