I like how the teacher uses popsicle sticks when calling on students. It ensures that all students have an equal chance of being called upon, rather than just those who are quick to raise their hands. I also like that she asked many of her students “why.” Asking "why" encourages students to think more deeply about their answers, moving beyond mere recollection of facts. This helps develop their critical thinking skills, as they must analyze and reason to articulate the rationale behind their answer.

My first reaction is how the teacher keeps order by putting away books and getting their journals to prepare for the class.  She then starts the class by sitting them on the floor, which is a great thing for the younger students to keep engaged.  She then goes through their jobs for the vclass and gives the children expectations and defines how they need to mark on the board when they are done.

There was a cool part where the teacher turned the lights off and made a statement “I was so discombobulated”and wanted the kids to figure out what that means..  They worked through it and put it up on a screen at the front with the definition.  She walked through with the kids that the word was a verb and collaborated on why it was.  When the lights were off, she had really cool sub lighting in the room to keep a great atmosphere in the room.

Ten the class did some sign language including the Pledge of Allegiance.  I think the more ways you can learn the better for long term learning.  The teacher does a good job of having a plan and staying on task.  The teacher does a great job of being around the room and meeting kids at their level.  She kneels down at their desks.  She also allows kids to work together and talk amongst themselves to come up with answers.  This is great because it teaches us to work as a team, just like the real world.  I really like the learning centers she utilizes and the moving from activity to activity.

The use of flash cards to create sentences and identify the noun, verbs and components of the complete sentence.
