Interviewer: [Music sounds]. On graduation day—I think this was about three years back—a student that had gone through my class, and she didn't always succeed in my class, but we kind of formed a bond. Her mom, after graduation, found me, sought me out, came after me, grabbed me, found me, gave me a huge hug. She said, "I did not think I would see this day. I don't think I would have seen this day without you." It's powerful, but there's teachers like that everywhere. That's the wonderful thing about being a teacher is that you get to experience something like that.
