This was a great lesson! I am not a science or physics teacher, but I am currently in grad school in a reading specialist program, and the focus of this particular course is on teaching literacy to students through content areas other than ELA. This teacher did an excellent job of teaching about bridge structures while also developing students' literacy skills when reading scientific journal articles.
