I liked how the teacher got the students up and moving at one point, but kept enforcing her expectations for volume and effort. Very well planned out lesson.

The teacher is teaching students how to think about decisions that may need to be solved. It also pushes students to either agree or disagree & explain their reasoning. She keeps her students engaged.

The students are given instructions and the teacher reiterates with clarity and emphasis as to what the task is so that the students understand what is required. This activity pushes the students to think harder while working independently first (e.g. gathering thoughts) and as a group or with a team partner.

The teacher is fully engaged in the assignment and also ensures the students are fully engaged in the activity by asking questions.

I love how the students are constantly pushed to think harder, to ask the harder questions also.  I love the part of  noticing through obervation and the wondering makes them think beyond what they can see.
