Gary Abud, Jr.
Gary Abud, Jr. currently serves as the principal teacher and lead learner at Mark Twain Elementary in Fraser, Michigan, a competency-based K-6 school that is 1:1 with iPads. Formerly a high school STEM teacher and instructional coach, he was selected by the Michigan Department of Education as the 2014 Michigan Teacher of the Year. Gary has presented at numerous conferences, including TEDxDetroit, and co-hosts the Teachers of the Year Radio program. He has been honored for his work by the Michigan Governor’s Office, the U.S. Department of Education, and the White House.
