I loved Monster Match, what a clever way to get kids to think about why details are so important.

1) Students are asked to evaluate their descriptive paragraphs by reading a descriptive paragraph on Monster and have students from their class and other class draw the picture.
2)Angela's discussion with students after the lesson so important because she explains the important part of a descriptive passage.
3) The conferencing extend the learning experience for students because the students shared their drawing to match the descriptive writing.
