A) I like how the teachers don't downgrade the big words for the students because they believe they have the intelligence in understanding those at such a young age. I also like how she paired her more advanced students with the less advanced students for the exercise on the rug and had the advance students give an explanation as to why they got to that answer. The roleplay in the other class is also a great and very fun idea for the students because they get to be as creative as they want in their roles and writing. In the end when the teachers gather together to discuss the work of their students is so smart. With that, they can see where kids needs improvement and if there is a pattern between students. They can also discuss with one another the next steps to help their students and start planning their next lesson.

I love the concept of inner and outer circles to cater to different levels of students. Place advanced learners in the outer circle to support and assist those in the inner circle. This promotes collaboration and a sense of community among students. I also loved the role play. Engage students in role-playing activities to activate their prior knowledge, develop oral language skills, and foster storytelling abilities. This interactive approach makes learning more engaging and allows students to use their imagination. These teachers have a wonderful system.

I would love to visit this school in person and observe all the wonderful ways they use language literacy across subjects, the role-playing, student partners, repeating the steps. Really great interaction and learning.

It's amazing to see how teachers are passionate to teach and help the students to understand the subject in a comfortable environment and support their home language as well as english.
