Mrs. Price involved the parents, which was a good and important strategy for learning, especially for small children. I don't know why it would be important for kindergartners to participate in making the rules. Clear expectations and consequences contribute to learning in that they narrow the focus to where it needs to be centralized.

Parent involvement is essential the road to success is a link between home and school. The right activity, having routines are recipe for success, plus children are more apt to follow the rules if they have a voice making them. Accountability and understanding the consequences for mal-adaptive behaviors even the youngest child whatever their ability can understand.

I really liked that the kids were able to participate in establishing the classroom rules.
