Something else that happens in the setting is that students are more highly aware of the traditional tone production methods, bow holds, fingerings, since they are being asked to play unconventionally. I do this during the school year in my middle school orchestra classes. It is titillating. Every level of player is able to take part and produce a successful product! Thank you !

An exemplary way of helping students experiment, reflect, and ultimately participate in a creative music making activity.
