The idea of the assignment to the communication factor from teacher and teams is the key to successful development. This assignment allowed students to brainstorm creative designs in order build their own prototype. The student’s team effort will depend on their learning and being able to present to the class and show case their creative solutions. Being that facilitator is a crucial role as a teacher.

Facilitator is an important role for the teacher. This interface with student's allows them to take greater levels of ownership of their work. I believe young learners are much more likely to become engrossed in their work when they feel responsible for their role amongst the team or company. Simulating the workplace environment is an awesome learning opportunity for young learners. The students is this video look actively engagement in dialogue with each other and what their specific task is (accounting, engineering, electrical) and how it relates to the collective effort of the finished product.

Student roles are vital. A project manager learns the essential flow of communication in the workplace. The student-led meetings were fun to watch. I learned that providing an appropriate environment and letting the students create leads to some fantastic learning opportunities.

I enjoyed watching the video on student ownership where the students were taking charge of their own learning on their choice of projects. This video relates to my older students where they choose a traditional native arts and crafts to finish for their own or to give away to others. These hands-on projects keep our students motivated and busy in a classroom or the school shop to finish projects such as fur mittens, fur hats, spears, harpoons, traditional knives, etc. This helps students to become responsible for any learning which I hope they will carry onto their future lives.
