She holds students accountable along with herself to make sure her students are learning. All students are worth something and her lessons are explicit to lowering the achievement gap. A lot of students are so diverse and she wants all her students to have the same equal opportunities.

Her role is, as she said, to daily teach lessons that explicitly lower the achievement gap. She also takes responsibility for the students' learning, not just her teaching. In other words, she takes responsibility of the results.
