Discussion and Supporting Materials

Thought starters

  1. How does Ms. Tanner differentiate for 3 different groups?
  2. How does using Geometry software increase efficiency and allow more time to address reasoning skills?
  3. See how students use concrete objects in conjunction with calculators to explore quadratics.?

Using technology to teach is a great thing! If needed a child could go back and review the video if they need any help. They can also reach out to their teachers if they need extra help. When I was in school, I loved having videos and materials that I could look back at to help me with hard concepts. I think this is a really good way to teach geometry but having the extra help in the classroom is a great thing as well.

I understand how this video can help students in their geometry class. The technology used in this classroom setting was very useful to the students.
